Through our supportive housing programs, Solid Ground helps homeless families break the cycle of homelessness and poverty for the next generation. There are many ways you can support the families at Solid Ground!
Gifts of all sizes make a difference!
- $25 provides school supplies to support a child in their education
- $100 provides budgeting classes for a parent
- $500 pays rental assistance for a family for one month
- $1,000 provides tutoring to a child for an entire year

When a family joins Solid Ground, they are often coming from difficult situations that force them to leave their personal belongings behind. We rely on the community to provide the items are needed to help families settle into their new homes.

If you are able, please consider making a donation or purchasing an item directly from our AMAZON WISH LIST. Items can be shipped directly to East Metro Place, 3521 Century Ave N, White Bear Lake, MN 55110-5689 or dropped off at the same location on MWF mornings or TTh afternoons.
We accept vehicle donations through Cars With Heart.
We no longer accept furniture donations. Instead, we partner with Bridging, a local nonprofit that specializes in furniture donations, for families needing furniture when they move in. If you have furniture to donate, please consider supporting Bridging.
