Janeen Vogelaar is an award-winning brand, marketing, and creative professional with experience in markets across the U.S. and internationally. She specializes in driving growth and engagement—whether she’s creating multi-platform marketing campaigns, strengthening a corporate brand, building diverse creative teams, or leading impactful business initiatives. Janeen is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Salo, a Korn Ferry company in Minneapolis. Prior, Janeen held leadership roles in marketing and creative for media organizations including KARE 11, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, BBC Worldwide in London, ITVS in San Francisco and KTLA & CBS in Los Angeles. Janeen is also a documentary film buff and was the executive producer of an Alfred I. DuPont-Columbia University award-winning, feature-length documentary, Love Them First: Lessons from Lucy Laney.

Many of her current and past roles have included local cause marketing initiatives and highlighting stories of underrepresented communities, especially benefitting children. Janeen joined the Solid Ground board because she believes in the mission, to help local families build strong foundations they need to emerge from the cycle of home insecurity, and to help ensure all children have an opportunity for a brighter future.
