Friday, October 9, 2020 – Day of the Event!

    • 6:15pm  – Optional VIP Cocktail Zoom– Join hobby mixologist, Adam Kish-Bailey and other VIP Ticket Holders for a DIY Cocktail Class over Zoom.
    • 6:40pm- Pre-Program– Join us for a fun look at the online auction items, learn how to bid and donate, and make sure you are logged in and registered for the event.  Grab a snack, a beverage of your choice, and get ready for an evening of music, motivation, and mission with Jearlyn Steele.
    • 7:00pm (CST)  SHARP- Program begins featuring performances by Jearlyn & Billy Steele of the world renown musical family, The Steeles.
    • 7:40 — Program concludes
    • 8:30 pm — Auction closes

When and how can I participate in the Auction?

Auction opens at 10:00 am on Friday, October 2

The Auction will close at 8:30pm on Friday, October 9.

If I win an item, how will I get it?

Auction item winners will be notified of their winnings after the auction closes at 8:30pm on October 9th.

Gift cards & certificates will be mailed to the winner and do not require pick up.

Gift baskets, bottles of wine, artwork, and other physical items will need to be picked up on either of the following dates:

– Tuesday October 13 between 4:00pm- 7:00pm

– Wednesday, October 14 between 9:00am – Noon

Call or text Sandy at 612-889-4893 with your name, item(s) and car make/color 15 minutes before you arrive and we will bring your item(s) to your vehicle.

How do I RSVP or purchase VIP Tickets?

This event is free to attend.  You can watch the program and bid on the online auction items.  To RSVP for a Complimentary Ticket, click HERE.

A $50 VIP Ticket helps defray the cost of the event and includes a few perks for your household!  All VIP Ticket Holders are entered to win the Ultimate Yeti Cooler Package, are granted access to the exclusive VIP Cocktail Zoom, and receive a special art project from the kids at East Metro Place.  To purchase a $50 VIP Ticket for your household, click HERE.

What are the Perks of a VIP Ticket?

The $50 VIP Ticket helps defray the cost of the event and includes a few perks for your household.

VIP Ticket Holders are entered to win the Ultimate Yeti Cooler Package including a YETI Hopper Flip 12 Cooler, 2 Coleman Mesh Quad Chairs with carrying bags, and a Surly Party Starter Pack of 12.  This package is valued at $300.

VIP Ticket Holders are granted access into an exclusive VIP Cocktail Zoom Call before the event, promptly at 6:15pm on October 9th. Hobby mixologist Adam Kish-Bailey will lead the group in creating two craft cocktails to enjoy throughout the evening. Information will be sent one week before the event.

VIP Ticket Holders will receive a special art project created by the kids at East Metro Place.

How do I attend and access the virtual fundraiser that night?

You will be able to access the Bring it Home! Virtual Fundraiser from the Solid Ground webpage. You may use any of your electronic devices such as a smart TV, computer laptop, phone, or tablet. You may want to use more than one device and watch the event on the big screen while bidding from your phone.

We will share all the links you will need to attend the Bring it Home! Virtual Fundraiser through our website, social media, and reminder emails.  Be sure to RSVP or purchase your VIP tickets to ensure your receive the reminder emails.  Click HERE to RSVP or purchase VIP Tickets now and help Raise the Roof for families experiencing homelessness.

When I tune in, will others be able to see me?

No.  This is a one-way viewing experience.

The VIP Cocktail Zoom pre-event will allow you an opportunity to see and chat with others before the event beings.

What is a Watch Party and How do I Host one?

A Watch Party is a new way for people to watch an event together either online or in your home with a small group of family, friends, or co-workers.  You can watch the event on www.Solidgroundmn.org and share this link with your network near and far to watch online as well.

Your small group can gather together in one location to watch the Bring it Home! Virtual Fundraiser. To host an in-person Watch Party, invite your small group to view the event on your big screen TV together.  If you have a smart TV, you can connect directly to the link we provide or you can connect your computer to a TV using a HDMI connection. It can be hosted in your home, or on your patio if technology is available there.

I Can't Tune in on Oct. 9. Can I Still Bid in the Auction?

Yes! Even if you are unable to attend the event on October 9th, you can still participate and bid in the online auction.  In order to participate, you will need to RSVP to the event by clicking HERE.  The auction will open on October 2nd and remain open until 8:30 pm on October 9th.
