The Holiday Express is Back!
For years, we’ve invited the community to share the magic of the holidays with the families we serve. Since 2020, holiday donors have brought joy to over 1,800 children & adults in more than 480 families! We’re excited to invite our supporters back this year to share the holiday spirit!
How it works
Each Solid Ground family will complete their Wish List of items with up to three gifts for each family member. As we collect these Wish Lists, we match these families with community donors. We start matching in November!
Get Involved
Please note:
- We ask that donors plan to budget at max $125 per person to make it equitable for the families.
- If wrapping gifts, we ask that donors please leave the “From” section of the gift labels blank and to provide a separate list of which gifts are for each person.
- Please plan to deliver gifts to our Main Office on December 10th, 11th, or 14th. Families will be receiving their gifts December 16th-18th. Our Address is 3521 Century Ave N, White Bear Lake, MN 55110.
Provide monetary gifts on our Donate page or give an unwrapped gift to fulfill the Wish Lists of families that are not matched with a donor.
Assist with unloading donors’ vehicles, transporting gifts inside the building, and organizing gift packages.
- Times needed are December 10th, 11th, & 14th, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
- Volunteers will not be needed to deliver gifts to families in our scattered site programs.
