Volunteers play a critical role in Solid Ground’s ability to provide high quality programs for the families that we serve in our supportive housing programs. Each year, hundreds of volunteers work together with Solid Ground to help prevent and end homelessness for families in this community. Ready to join us? To get the process started, please apply online here or contact Hannah Parish, Volunteer Program Manager, at 651-846-9024 or firstname.lastname@example.org, to discuss the types of opportunities that would be the best fit for you. Paper copies of our application are also available upon request.
Opportunities for Individual Volunteers
Solid Ground offers a variety of opportunities for individuals interested in volunteering directly with youth and families or working behind the scenes at East Metro Place. Examples include tutors, childcare volunteers, office assistants, drivers and more. We also welcome volunteer inquiries from individuals with professional skills to share that would be beneficial to Solid Ground or the families we serve.
Opportunities for Groups
Group Projects allow community members to create a big impact in the lives of families through a single day of service, donation drive, or ongoing partnership. We offer projects that can be completed at our location or yours. To get started, contact Hannah Parish, Volunteer Program Manager, at 651-846-9024 or email@example.com.
