Housing as a basic human right?

“As I read ‘Evicted,’ so many faces of families who’ve sought help at Solid Ground flashed through my mind: parents stuck in minimum wage jobs; families who can’t find housing because of minor criminal histories; parents who struggle with mental and chemical health issues; people who lose their housing because of their own poor decisions and those who lose it through no fault of their own, like late child support payments that result in not being able to pay the rent and keep a roof over their children’s heads.”
